The Beta Club recognizes outstanding academic achievement that promotes strong moral character and social responsibility, encourages service to others, fosters leadership, and provides settings for students to develop strong interpersonal skills.  Fifth graders who have earned a grade point average of 3.8 or higher for their first semester of 5^th grade, exemplify strong character, and have maintained role model behavior throughout the school year are eligible to apply for membership.  If accepted, members will participate in a variety of activities that promote leadership and service.
