The News Crews gives the morning announcements at Morning Meeting each day.  Fifth graders may fill out an application and try out to become a member of the News Crew at the beginning of each school year.  New members are chosen each nine weeks to announce the menu and the birthdays each day as well as announce the sports, and to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
