Dear Morningside Families,

My name is Heather Goodman and I am honored to be Morningside’s principal.  I have lived in Elizabethtown my entire life and love raising my family in this community. Jason and I have been married for 19 years and we have two teenage children, Noah and Faith.  When I’m not at school I spend a lot of time at the soccer field. This will be my 17th year in education; I served as the assistant principal at Heartland Elementary for the past 11 years.  I completed my graduate work at Western Kentucky University and I have certification in administration, supervisor of instruction, and superintendency.  The best part about being a principal is getting to work with all of the students at MES.  I visit classrooms on a regular basis to spend time with students so that I can get to know them individually.  Relationships between administration, teachers, students,and parents are essential for student success.
